We have been keeping with our tree care service customers in Castle Rock. Castle Rock was founded in 1874. Castle Rock covers a total of 32 square miles and can present some challenges for healthy trees and shrubs.
To understand some of the challenges that we face as the Castle Rock Tree Service; one needs to know a little history. About 37 million years age, a volcanic eruption took place that covered the area around Castle Rock with 20 feet of extremely resistant rock called rhyolite-Good-by Trees! After a few million years, mass flooding and erosion of the volcanic rock gave way to the castle-shaped butte that is the town’s namesake.
The hillsides are covered with scattered juniper trees and open Ponderosa Pine woodlands. Other trees common in the area include scrub Oak, Pinyon and pinyon Pine. You can tell from this description that growing healthy and beautiful trees can be challenging in the semi-arid and tough soil!
We at Castle Rock Tree Service understand the challenges you have for beautiful and healthy trees. Please call us for a free estimate of any tree job you may be needing.
